With well over 25 million registered players only on Ps4, is this the biggest game of this console generation? The numbers are insane!

yeah i´ve seen GTA V across the sales charts all the time, i guess it´s HUGE.

GTA V is technically last gen but yeah I'd say it'd carry over and is number 1. BO3 close second.

Though if we're strictly talking about sales for this console generation (PS4 + XB1) VGC has sales for them as:

Blackops 3 : 22.25m

GTA V : 22.13m

Under the criteria of this generation BO3 might be the biggest game atm, (not for long). Though if you include PC in "this generation" then GTA V is the biggest game by a landslide.

i dont mean to sound like a dick, but VGC are worthless. we have official data stating that GTA5 is at 80 million units sold. i think it was around 30 million then the PS4 and XB1 versions launched. with those versions (and PC) obviously selling the most of the remaining 50 million units. 

VGC currently has GTA V at 60m on consoles, add PC sales and digital and they're probably pretty close to 80m, so I don't think VGC are that far off that it's worthless.

But due to how close VGC has them, margin of error in tracking, and no digital figures, I did say "might" rather than is.

Do you have Xbox One leardboards? 

Right now possibly. But gta V will pass it out in the end easily. Rocket league probably also pass it out.

I wouldn't trust leaderboards as a good indication of sales. Used Games, multiple people sharing a copy and people that have multiple accounts means the number on the leaderboards will always be higher then actual sales.

But no I don't have the XBO leaderboards.
