While you may be right that not everyone cares for exclusives (also I think it's just an apology atm...you'd sing a different song if XBox actually had any) I just don't see why anyone who isn't rich or a true MS fanboy would buy that thing, let alone preorder it, when Sony is obviously already preparing the PS5?! Plus MS will be forced to get the price down to 400 max really soon after release (in a year's time, mark my words).

if there were signs that MS was indeed upping their questionable support, but how it is...why would I want to support that attitude?! They are about to abandon their third console early...in a row!

The Pro has been out for seven months, and the only info we've been given is this.  Don't be surprised if Sony stops giving out info when sales drop.

Best part about all this is how people were saying the slim was now the more desirable console when it outsold PS4 last year. So much crow was eaten when the sales collapsed and PS4 is back to winning bigger gaps then ever before.

I actually hope that the PS4 pro sales dwindle down to where they stop giving info about it.

Yeah... and in an specific part of the market - Japan - XboxOne is pratically ignored.

Here in South America, the Xbox brand has a huge following - result of the good support Microsoft gives to these markets -  but lately people are more interested in the PS4 and the Switch.

There's not much reason for any PC gamer to own a console. You get more games on PC, they look and play better, and they're cheaper. But if you have to own a console also, there's still lots of reasons some can prefer Xbox besides being "infatuated with the logo". For me, Xbone has a much better UI. Xbone has an infinitely superior controller. Xbox Live defecates all over PSN in multiple areas imho. Also there is the Play Anywhere initiative. So it is nice to be able to continue your game elsewhere if you feel the need to own a gaming PC and a console :)

And of course some are just hardcore gamers who want to be able to experience everything. I own all the consoles and a gaming PC so I can do just that. If I had to keep only one console though it would be Xbone, and has nothing to do with first party games. MicroSony have both been pretty lackluster in the games department this gen imho. It's for the reasons I listed above. And I'm fine with being in the minority there, but lets not act as if there aren't valid reasons. Especially when if you look at software charts, a majority of people are buying PS4 for games they can also play on PC or Xbone.

As someone who has a fairly beefy PC, Ps4, and a nintendo Switch I see no reason to get an xbox. To be honest I've always been more Sony oriented with nintendo handhelds on the side. OFC I'd say overall I'm a PC gamer, but at the end of the day my biggest thing is I see no reason to buy an xbox with the massive diversity in the playstation library.They have FPS,Action games, Adventure games, JRPGS, WRPGS, Racing games, platformers. Literally something for everyone. Nintendo Switch has the potential Nintendo first party IP's that people have come to love Mario, Mario 3d platformers, Metroid, Kirby, Super smash, Xenoblade, pikmin, splatoon, arms, Pokemon etc. When you look at it this way there is very little reason to pickup an xbox.

The only reason for me to get an X1 would be 3 backward-compatible N64 ports released on 360: Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo Tooie. There is not a single game of interest other than these 3 and I do not buy a console just for 3 old games.

Not really. This is just you trying to go down his route, asserting your own opinion as fact. This is almost no different than those YT comment sections where one guy lists off a bunch of PS4 exclusives and calls any exclusive on any other system as "trash".

Using meta isn't the end all to be all, it never was back in the day, it isn't now.
