Thanks for the recommendations everyone!

My PS4 just arrived to the house - so it'll be there ready to set up when I get home.

I've got a lot of really exciting recommendations - but it seems clear that PERSONA 5 is the game I have to get.

Seriously, you guys can't shut up about how good that game is.

As for game recommendations, besides the one game you have to get, and we don't even have to talk about it or mention the game. You know which game it is. Persona 5.

Besides that, since you seemed to like Onimusha, I would say look into Nioh. And if you never played it on PS3 or PC, Valkyria Chronicles is a great unique jrpg.
Also, although I haven't played it yet myself, I've been convinced that Nier: Automata is a masterpiece based on what I've heard from others.
Yakuza 0 should also be a good introduction to the series if you haven't played any of the others.

 

Its the same for me with Persona 5 though, i havent played it yet since i have been busy with other games but from all ive heard it must be amazing.

great taste :) Persona 5 is the biggest story/character-masterpiece 2017 with Yakuza Zero. Both have awesome gameplay.

Bloodborne is great, Gravity Rush 2 looks nice, Nier Automata is the best Platinum Games-Game now. RE7.. (i like RE1-4, but then... -.- but its a good horror game,yes) = )
