I bought it twice on launch week. Neither of those are counted. (Non-Phsyical via Steam and PSN Store).

Wait, was it ever a chance that PS4 version wouldn't outsell Xbone version...with Tekken being so closely associated with Sony for so long?
Xbox gamers like shooters and racers predominately, this does not surprise me. And obviously the PS4 install base is greater.

When ioi was putting his full effort in VGC (you know, getting data from hundreds of retailers), it was quoted quite often. I remember the meltdowns when Square Enix was using VGC information in the annual statements last generation. |
This site is infamous for making up numbers. Even Wikipedia doesn't count this site as a credible source.
I can't count the amount of games that actually have stated sales figures and yet this site has completely different sales entirely because they're just made up. They always have been.
Tekken 7 is great, But Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is better in my opinion for Fighting-Fans, because more than 100 playable characters and beautiful graphic. Maybe next year a Game of the Year Edition with more Tekken 7-characters ? What do you think guys ? i hope it. Too many great PS4 Games, i have no time for T7 now and thats why.. maybe i buy it next year.
I think it sold another 250k on steam (1 month since release) which would mean around 650k first week I guess

Look, I don't even use VGC's current data for sales. I rely on sales trackers, of which VGC used to do decently at.
But if it makes you feel better to think it's just a guy guessing and putting numbers into a field, then go for it.

It's not a matter of what I think, that is how it is, if it weren't that way then the site would use actual stated figures in place of the current incorrect made up ones.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse which shipped 4 million copies months ago....sold about 2.3 million copies according to this site.

lol at bolded. There's literally nothing to support that.
At underlined, VGC has and will always continue to change the numbers based off a financial reports and the tracking info that leaks. Most of the corrections that aren't made are largely to do with the fact that only one person has the ability to update the games database.
