We obviously don't mean killed as in death. We mean it in fight talk terms. Now re'read our posts and think again.

Yes i've been punched many times with a oxing glove. But it's nothing compared to a knee to the head or a foot to the head with more force behind it. Or as sore as an elbow to the temple. I never did MMA but but my knee acidently connected with a guys face as he fell over in a football match before. Broke his nose and cheek. It was nasty.

So again you'll never been killed as bad in boxing as you would in MMA.

Go tell that to Margherito after his fight with Pacquaio, Roy Jones after his bout with Calzhaghe or Gerald McClellen who is partially blind and wheel chair bound because Boxing easily has equivalent injuries are you sure you're not just using a training glove either as well as the wraps underneath them because I assure you when a trained boxer hits you you are not getting up that's before we get to the internal injuries inflicted which is is why the number 1 rule is defence in the sport.

Chris English Eubank considered retiring after he put a man in a coma, I'm going to call you out on this one because the are a large number of examples that contradict your argument here.

If you put mayweather in an octagon vs mcgregor the head kick knock out he'd suffer would be a lot worse then any punch he could hit mcgregor with. That's what we're talking hear.  Mcgregor vs mayweather.  Why are you bringing others into this?

Wtf? You do get killed in Boxing like in any bloodsport actually many people have died and picked up horrific injuries, have you ever been hit with an actual boxing glove to be saying this as the impact is immense as it spreads out the force of the punch, all it protects is the Boxer's knuckles.

Uhhhhh... except for the people that have actually been killed in boxing.

You can be killed in boxing mathematically as bad as one can be killed... till your dead.

No for a start the force of a kick is dependent on a number of factors, Conner's kick may not even be comparable in force to Floyd's punch as he may not be trained specifically in a discipline that trains the legs like Muai Thai or Taekwondo so may not have the technique to exert such force that dwarf's any punch. Mayweather however is a fully trained Boxer so knows where and when to hit his opponents as well as how to hit them, added with the force generated from a boxing glove McGregor would be just as hurt from a punch as Mayweather would be from a kick.

If by others you mean the boxers I named go look up their injuries that's what happens in a Boxing ring and is evidence that debunks your whole argument.

Seriously?  You don't think people die in MMA?  Sure wasn't it only last year mcgregor was ringside at an MMA fight and the guy died.

Obviously you're not up to date on your MMA so I'm going to stop discussing this.

Mayweather hasn't knocked anyone out bar a cheap shop in donkeys years.  A bunch from mayweather these days isn't that powerful.  Mcgregor on the other hand has been dropping fellas left and right.

I really really do not understand the point of two dudes taking the silly uber machoness to beat the shit out of others dudes for "sport".

One should not judge that which one does not understand, for that person does not have an understanding with which to judge.

Sorry that you really really do not understand.

Don't mind me, I was just being a dick, lol. I only said that because of your avatar.

But to answer your question honestly, most fighters, if not all UFC fighters and Pro Boxers, like the act of fighting but don't necessarily like to beat on other guys. The money is the biggest driver and we are talking about the most talented fighters in the world fighting for money, not just to beat each other up, but to collect money as entertainers to put it roughly.

Then there is Connor, lol.
