This thread is just bait so that fanboys can argue in the first place, so my going along with the whole spiel is hardly blame-worthy.

 Secondly, anybody that comes to a FORECASTING web-site, should know enough about console gaming to know what to reccomend for one's own brother given how much $$$ he has, age, and whether he is sophisticated to send that broken 360 in for a rebate.

i just want a honest answer. i didnt came to start some fanboy drama i just want to here peoples opinion if my brotha should sell his PS3 for an 360. I already told my brotha to buy both but he said that he one console is enough for him. For me I have all 3 and like them all

I'd tell him to keep his PS3. I'm personally a fan of sticking with your decisions. I've never sold a console that I bought ever. In the end, it's going to cost him more to sell the PS3, buy the 360, then re-buy a PS3 later on than anything else, and half the games he wants are coming to the PS3 anyway. If he wants all the games, he needs to get all the consoles. If he's going to settle for half, he may as well stick with the half he's already chosen. This is coming from a Nintendo fan who sees Microsoft as the lesser of two evils, for reference. Stick with the PS3. And tell him to keep in mind that his brother's going to have a 360, and will probably pick up a lot of the non-PS3 games he'll want.

I recommend he keep the PS3 at least until the end of the year. Othrewise, he will likely regret switching once we start to see the good PS3 games coming out...

It really depends on if he wants to play games now... or in 2008.

Also are you both planning on playing online? My brother lives 4 hours away, and we've played coop on Crackdown and Gears of War, it's a blast. Now where currently both playing the Halo 3 beta, and can't wait till the full version.  Specially if the 4 player coop is true!

... or how about you just lend him your 360? Let him borrow it for a couple weeks.

I would hold off and keep the ps3 through this xmas. Once 360 has dropped the prices and he can see the true market makeup after this holiday it will make this decision to lose the money on reselling the ps3 for 360 or even wii should it gain all of those genre's support after the holidays.

I'd keep the PS3 if I were him and save up for a 360. Owning a PS3 this early in it's lifecycle almost guarantees he'll get his money's worth and very likely a lot more since there are a lot of exclusive games that will be released for it in the coming years. As for his wife, get him to sweet talk her :D And he shouldn't care which system sells more, just which system has the games he wants to play. Lets be honest, who cares what the majority chooses or likes, it should come down to what the individual person likes.
