Forums - Sony Discussion - Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age Reviews

FF12 is a centerpiece among the Final Fantasy series. Its a major contributer to the disappointment of FFXlll. I cant get it though as I would never finish XV

Sold.

Can't wait to get it.

Another highly rated ps4 exclusive. The list is getting big!

hands down. 12 was always my favorite. I remember my PS2 times. I even bought it before X. and to be honest, 7 had terrible graphics for me and it ruined the experience for me...
coming back. Got my Preorder today. Weekend I send kids to the neighbors, I told my wife, she can leave me, have an affair or whatever...I am busy from friday on

I've always thought this game was the beginning of the franchise's quality decline, so I'm always surprised about the great critical reception this game has got. Though it'll be a nice deal for FFXII fans, so enjoy!

This should be a 90+ score.

No Final Fantasy game deserves that score. How hard can they milk this franchise anyway? It feels like all I'm seeing lately is Final Fantasy remasters and remakes.

What? I agree that theyre milking the crap out of XV, but qhere are all those remakes and remsters? This is releasing  over 2 years after Type-0 HD, which more than a remaster was a brand new game for people in the Wesr.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake won't come out anytime soon, so what's your point?

On topic: Hopefully it'll stay in the high 80s or even 90. Square knows how to make a remaster, and this game shows that.

It was, but it just slightly declined by that point, so FF XII was a high quality product nevertheless, despite its flaws. And this remaster is the zodiac version, which fixes quite a lot of those flaws.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

What? The last remaster was FF X, and that was what, 3 or 4 years ago?

Final Fantasy before XIII was a franchise of excellence, one that every single game looked up to, and was regarded as the forefront of the gaming industry. While FF XII was the beginning of the downfall, it is still a great game.

And they are not milking it.At least not mainline ones.We get a mainline entry once every 3 or 4 years, depending on Square mood.
