With gaming not being the healthiest of pastimes just wonder which VGC members are cyclists and regularly cycle high miles perhaps commuting. Also what are you riding?

Well, I don't know how much as I don't measure it, but I ride the bike each day to my job and back. Google Maps tells me that are 6 kilometers (miles? what's that?), so I cycle 12 km each workday. So, it should add up to somewhat in the 2000-3000km range for the year.

I've had a busy summer thus far but I do try to ride when I can. I usually go with my husband for rides of about 30-45km (18 to 28 miles) everytime. I'm riding a Norco aluminum frame bike which is so light I can lift it with two fingers, it cost a pretty penny but it was worth it.

Signature goes here!

I used to ride this in 2008-2011

Then i moved states in 2011 and have't had time to ride a bike

I couldn't ride a bike till this year. Since I have the whole month off, I have taken some time to ride, but I probably won't be doing it that often.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Even though we Dutch people basically get born with bicycles attached to our asses, I'm not that into biking.

I'm a walker myself, though I do ride on random occasions anywhere between 20-50km for a random amount of times a year. Just because why not. However being Dutch, we do cycle everywhere at any time, and I do too; to the bus, to do grocery shopping, run errands, visit a friend, you name it. But there's no way to know how much that adds up to.

Beats me I think my maximum distance is about 18-19 miles unless you count it as in one day then I can double it as that was cycling to a friends house spending about 6hrs there and then cycling home again. On a heavy steel mountain bike too.

Used to cycle a lot on cheap kids mountain bikes, my previous bike though I had probably notched up less than 3000 miles over 8 years. (most of that in the first couple of years while at uni)
Last year though I got back into it and bought a cheap hybrid style bike (cheap but from a proper bike shop rather than supermarket or Halfords Apollo brand) I have had it just over a year and done just over 2000 miles (3200km), about half is commuting, the other half leisure riding.

Looking into getting a road bike as well though. Currently most interested in the B-twin Triban 540

I live in a place where winter is hell, so I use an indoor bike.

Typically a few miles a day on high resistance helps a lot

Last year in May, I got a new bike with an odometer. Now I'm at 700 kilometres, so in May it was probably about 600 km. However, I use another bike in the weeks when I live at my father's house, and I use this one more. So I guess I ride about 1500km (932 miles) per year.
