Not at all, but some on the left have an emphasis and passion for social justice that causes them to get "triggered" at any slight against their cause, and I was just pointing out that some conservatives are the same way with patriotism/certain aspects of American culture

The comment was originally in response to the claim that it is ironic that she's being attacked because she pissed on an American flag, which is symbolic of freedom of expression.

This is the worst slippery slope I have ever heard. "If someone is allowed to piss on the flag, than everyone will". Nope, I am sure most people with rational thought would just shrug this action off and go on with their day. She pissed on a piece of fabric - whoopty doo Basil.

I mean.. It's a classless and shitty move on her part but probably far more shitty (not to mention a major showing of fragility) to be pissed off about it to the point of calling for her death. 

Part of what makes America.. America to me is the fact that you CAN do something like this and not worry about your life being threatened. Though Americans also have the right to voice their displeasure with THIS too (with words that is)

Isn't possible, as no one knows exactly what he looked like. 

I mean, you can draw as many photos of him as you desire. Rip it, burn it, pee on it, or even jerk off on it. Not as if it means much. I wish more Muslims had this mentality.

I think it's clear she wanted to get attention. However, the threats to her and her dad's business shows what happens when we allow extreme beliefs to grow

I believe the point was that most don't have that mentality, and would likely be upset.

All that said, we're not talking about Islamic topics here. It'd probably derail the thread if it went any further (though I get the feeling more and more comparisons will be made).

We've been in a god damn race war for several years because dumb kids challenge cops, and the dumb kids happen to be black while the cops happen to be white. Have you not seen the riots? The looting? The absolute mindless fucking violence in the name of race and political sway? Black Lives Matter, Blue Lives Matter, the kid getting the ever-loving shit kicked out of him for voting the wrong way in the wrong neighborhood? Back in your day when Obama was president, racism was at an all time high, and hate crimes were everywhere. Cities had to be shut down because some bruiser named Brown charged a cop and everyone in the neighborhood gave a story that didn't match forensics and autopsies from unbiased third parties, while the cop's story matched it all perfectly. Dumbass snowflakes got run over because they wanted to protest by standing in the highway, and then other snowflakes got pissed. Every fucking news station whipped every fucking person into a goddam frenzy that many are still fucking in. 

You know what? I'm pretty sure America has calmed down a bit when you think about all the crazy shit people got away with while Obama was in office.

I don't want to derail the thread, but it's a fair comparison.

The only difference however is that this woman is protected by freedom of speech (which is actually enforced throughout the US). If the people threatening her had their way, I wouldn't be surprised if 'unpatriotic' people would be killed.
