First i was banned by DKII for a month, well ok, i can live with that.

But now i find out that my thread about ps2 and ps3 sales http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=14781&start=250 also closed and AGAIN by DKII.

I ask, WTF? What`s wrong with comparing ps3 and ps3 sales? Just because he don`t agree with that comparison, he closed a thread which was started in January? WTF???

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.


Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

CrazzyMan, you were being trollish (specifically, you were taking a flawed stance and attacking others when they pointed out the flaws in said stance), so you were punished. That's generally how it works on online forums. Freedom of speech does not mean you can go and be a jerk to everybody around you and get away with it scott-free. You can go and be a jerk to everybody around you, but you have to face the consequences of doing so.

 Lol yea he has some issues.  I made some comments to Bigjon in a thread and we straightened it out via PM but the high and mighty DKII, apparently is so bored that he banned me anyway.  I find it funny that the person i was directing my comments at had little to no problem while a mod was so offended by my comments that he banned me and gave me an extra fine.  I feel for you, it sucks that he is a head mod here and can't evenget past his own biases.

In his defense, there is a difference between someone intentionally inciting a riot and someone accidentally inciting a riot due to their own cluelessness. As far as I can tell, CrazzyMan's infractions all fall into the second category. I don't think it's right to punish people like that even if they do frequently get people worked up.

I think bans and thread-locking ought to be reserved for cases where there is clear malicious intent by the instigator.

 Huh?  What does freedom of speech have to do with ioi's website?  Freedom of speech is a government issue.
