Yennefer duh! Lol I love Yen and choose her first. However second playthrough I'm choosing Triss. After meeting Triss and interacting with her I really liked her character. I wanted to choose her but Yen.

I have a thing for redheads so I picked Triss. I get that Yennefer is more the canon pick from the books but it was Triss who was always there in the games.

Triss & Yenn both do what they're meant to do in the main story regardless of who you pick.  The only difference is who gets to be flirty and who gets to be a bit scornful while doing their plotty stuff.

Who should I pick when the time comes? I'm sort of thinking Triss since they had a thing in the first game, and apparently Yennefer is a complete bitch throughout the game, but could go for Yennefer since afterall she IS Geralt's actual partner or whatever... before the whole amnesia shit, lol.

I like Triss better as a character. So in my "definitive" play through I went with Triss for Geralt. I think either partner is consistent with the story, and that Geralt the character (as opposed to Geralt my alter-ego) would want to be with both women almost equally, but would have to choose as neither would accept a 3rd wheel in the relationship.

It appeares to me that Triss wants to make a life together, as well as getting shit done. Yen wants to get shit done, and also get it on whenever they can. But making a life together? Nah.

I like Triss better as a character, but the plot really wants you to pick Yenn. This becomes even more apparent after having seen both paths first hand.
