Forums - Politics Discussion - Donald Trump vs CNN Twitter Fight.

The last few days President Trump has be tweeting against CNN and how he belives that the Media is trying to convince Republicans and others that he should not be using social media. He then tweeted about how his use of social media helped him get his message out there and win the 2016 election.

Then he tweeted out this meme

CNN responded saying

"It is a sad day when the President of the United States encourages violence against reporters," CNN said in a statement released after Trump's tweet went out. "Clearly, [deputy press secretary] Sarah Huckabee Sanders lied when she said the President had never done so. Instead of preparing for his first overseas trip, his first meeting with Vladimir Putin, dealing with North Korea and working on his healthcare bill, he is instead involved in juvenile behavior far below the dignity of his office. We will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his."

There were some folds that wanted the Presidents twitter account to be banned beacause of cyber bullying CNN and they thought it was against Twitters terms and services but twitter said it doesnt violate any of there rules.

Such a dignified president.

This is disgusting. Regardless of what people thought of Obama, he was never this childish. All of the former presidents had class.

How anyone supports this billionaire (and elite) conman is beyond me

I love Trump. He's making the US economy look weak and unstable, so the US Dollar has been going down a lot since he assumed office, and has not shown signs of stopping.

Soon the exchange rate with my Mexican Peso will be like it was some 10 years ago.

borderline shamefull....

Americans seem to like to be governed by a 12 year old.

I think this whole twitter drama is pretty funny and entertaining so I encourage the tweeting.

It blows my mind that people support this. While I don't find this tweet particularly offensive (and I think it is a bit ridiculous to say it encourages violence against reporters), I don't think posting memes is behavior befitting a President. Why are pettiness and immaturity things that so many are celebrating now?

CNN is garbage news anyways.

Might as well just have a twitter themed week like he has been supposedly doing with topics such as energy and can't remember the other weeks. They've been trying to have themes on what they want to focus on for a week to somehow come up with some kind of policy but he keeps distracting everyone with his tweets.
