How can he say showing AAA's isn't showing variety?

Uncharted, GOW, Horizon, BoTW, Mario Odessy etc are all AAA games and are very different, ie. Variety.

I agree with you but come one thats a pretty bad list to show variety. 3 action adventure games and a platformer.

Better list

Uncharted, Mario, Persona, CoD

Action adventure games can vary in style, especially if the elements of their inspiration are different. Horizon is an open world rpg, god of war most definitely will remain a storyfocused linear hack n slash, uncharted 4 is not completely open world but has open spaces on the PS4 to roam about. It's still trying to keep you focused on the story. Odyssey is a pure platformers that just so happens to be open world. Botw is an action adventure game that relies of elements of puzzles in certain aspects of the game. They are all unique in some way.

But it is.

The game was made in just over 2 years. Its only new mode we know about is the salmon run and graphics wise it looks like a lot of the same assets were used. Budget wise its probably AA but thats not a bad thing because splatoon is an amazing game. My game of the generation.

... I don't get Aaron Greenberg, I mean... what's his deal? o.O

I think he is out of touch with what gamers really want. I think this can be said about MS as a whole. They miss the big picture. If Microsoft had to survive off of their 1st party mainly like Nintendo they would've been out of the console business long ago. That's not to say they don't have good IPs, but they seem to be lost on what to do with them. They keep bringing back OG Xbox BC saying Crimson Skies is a favorite. Why not make a new one, or at least an HD remake?

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

So he basically avoided adressing the actual topic.

Correct.

Avoided it pretty well though it seems. Not many people are pulling him up the fact he completely avoided the "exclusive" part of the question.

Glad to hear they only show games that are playable soon. Showing games that are more than 2 years away isnt worth it. Xbox killed it with variety at 2017 E3. Alot to play if your a PC and Xbox gamer from now and next E3.
Good to see MS avoiding the haters now, and just doing there own things.

Possibly working on a new IP? If he's going to say that, why not just confirm it?

Nice spin, many of the games they showed would actually be releasing in 2 years or over since they were first revealed. (Crackdown 3, Cuphead, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2)

But You are right, they should all be releasing before next years E3.

Yes, Sony Have done the same, but Horizon DLC, Uncharted Lost Legacy, God Of War, Spiderman, Gran Turismo Sport, Knack 2 are all releasing before next year's E3 as well.

Days Gone and Detroit are probably Q3 and Q4 2018 though.

It's just diehard Xbox fans jumping on and trying to spread whatever BS MS tells them to spew, even though it's not true.  Just like the whole "Sony just shows games that are going to release 2 years from now, while MS shows games coming soon."  Of course, this post here completely disproves it, but that won't stop them from spewing it if MS wants them to.

What's this got to do with Sony? Also your including DLC as new releases? Heck than might aswell add Halo Wars 2 DLC as a new game than and what ever else MS has coming out as DLC.

No spinning here mate however you adding Sony in this topic is questionable.

As long as we can get that chicken dinner, that's all that matters.
