I have the worst feeling about this E3, it really feels like Nintendo's show is gonna suck.

No BOTW2, Metroid Prime 4, or Bayonetta 3, the rumored DK either absent or gimmicky, the rumored Metroid either absent just another remake, no interesting new games, almost everything else just old ports, stuff we've already seen, and indie filler.

Feel like crap and I just want this to be over. :(

Link to the E3 Direct is here, and they disabled the chat for the stream. This is after they disabled the reply section for the Game Builder Garage tweet on their Twitter account.

I think Nintendo is getting sick of our shit.

Great, that was always the most toxic and annoying live chat.

I need Metroid Dread injected in my veins.

Also, Kazuya is a cool Smash pick.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Metroid
Metroid Prime 4

Metroid 5

METROID DREAD

I'm SO FUCKING HAPPY. Metroid Dread, finally! And it looks sooo interesting. Metroid as more of a horror game is what I wanted! (like Fusion)

Nintendo's direct was pretty solid. 7/10. Maybe saved E3. Maybe .

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

The Nintendo Switch’s lineup of notable games for the rest of the year:

Mario Golf: Super Rush - June 25th

Monster Hunter Stories 2 - July 9th

Skyward Sword HD - July 16th

No More Heroes 3 - August 27th

Sonic Colors: Ultimate - Sept. 7th

WarioWare, Life is Strange Collection, and Life is Strange: True Colors- Sept. 10th

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania - Oct. 5th

Metroid Dread - Oct. 8th

Mario Party Superstars - Oct. 29th

Shin Megami Tensei 5 - Nov. 12th

Pokemon BD/SP - Nov. 19th

Advance Wars 1+2 - Dec. 3rd

Looks like a pretty solid lineup overall, but unless they have one more big, blockbuster game for this year, I don’t think this will be enough to make 2021 the Switch’s peak year. I was hoping Breath of the Wild 2 would be that game, but obviously that’s not the case.
