I would be concerned if it didn't surpass the original, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, the original is a classic and a unique idea that I'm shocked didn't get a sequel sooner, but it was a great proof of concept and little more than that. There was so much room to improve, and it's 22 years later. 

I am excited.

According to VGChartz the original Pokemon Snap sold 3.6 million, at a time when its host platform was selling quite poorly.
On the Switch, I reckon it can top 7 million, at least.
