https://gonintendo.com/stories/374752-2021-is-the-fatal-frame-franchise-s-20th-anniversary-and-the-ser

Fatal Frame producer wants to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary next year in some way.

Please be Fatal Frame 6 and not just a port of 5...

I bet it's going to be a Twitter art 😂

Ha, probably. I'm certainly not getting my hopes up, even though I'd crawl through a mile of broken glass for a new Fatal Frame on Switch.

That certainly sounds like a scene from a horror game.

It would be worth it. Fatal Frame 4 is one of my favourite games and 2 and 5 are also awesome.

I'm kinda expecting just a port of 5 though to be honest. Next year it'll be 6 years since the last entry in the series though, so a new one would be more than due.

The series has never been a big seller, but with Nintendo co-owning the IP and the series producer having said he wants to make one for Switch, they may as well get another exclusive under their belt to help broaden Switch's appeal.

It'd be an awful shame for it to end up alongside F-Zero or Wave Race on the pile of forgotten Nintendo IPs.

Hey, man, what is your Switch friend code?

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Aw, that's a shame. I don't play online either, but I like seeing lots of people connected, and also checking sometimes the games they play.

Yea I like stalking people's play time Judging them lowkey.

I have come to the conclusion that the WORST thing Nintendo has ever invented, even worse than the Virtual Boy and the Wii u, is the f*****g BLUE SHELL

Finished Age of Calamity, finally.
It had a few issues, like the framerate, too many recycled bosses, and some spongy enemies, but this is outweighed by fun core combat, an entertaining story, and cool music.
Onto Immortal Fenyx Rising tonight.

I don't judge anyone but I do find satisfying when someone has invested a decent amount of hours in various games, to the point where the play times go like 20, 10, 40, 50 and so on, just as an example, and then it's quite jarring when someone has only played 1 or 2 hours of several games.

I know, it's weird, but I can't help it lol
