I might get a second Switch just for Pokemon Sword and Shield.

I don't understand, why would you need two Switches for that?

To doubly reassure Nintendo that he'll buy anything they give him.

Something I've been thinking about, should not Nintendo have already announced a DCL for Mario Kart 8 deluxe? that would be easy money. If at this point they have not announced it, I think it's because they're working on Mario Kart 9 for Switch. I know what everyone says:

-None other Nintendo console has had two Mario Kart games (it is also true that the Switch is the first to recieve a port of a Mario Kart and not an original game).

-Mario Kart 8 continues to sell very well (But a new game would have monstrous sales in week 1 and later).

So that I can trade between games and get myself all 3 Galar starters.

I'm pretty sure you could do that with just one Switch, plus the usage of a thing called the internet.

In other news, I just beat Crypt of the Necrodancer as Aria. I know not many are playing this game right now, but jesus fucking christ that was HARD.

For those unaware, it's a campaign where you die in 2 hits - healing doesn't work either, because your health is actually only half a heart, what keeps you from dying in 1 hit is a potion that comes pre-equipped. You take damage by getting hit from enemies as normal, but you can also take damage for missing a beat, which means you must move in sync with the music every single beat without mistake, and anything such as trying to dig an unbreakable wall or hitting an invulnerable enemy will count as a missed beat. In addition, you can only use the dagger, aka the game's shittiest weapon, and it doesn't even allow you to upgrade to better daggers or anything. It's just the base dagger.

You can still upgrade your damage output with non-weapon items that increase your damage, and there is a glass armor that protects you from 1 or 3 hits (there are two versions of it), although it still doesn't protect you from missed beats, only enemy attacks. But, still.

I got over 40 hours of play time on this game and I'm pretty sure at least 25-30 of those hours were just this one campaign. If you ever feel like doing it, well... don't. It sucks, lol. But I'm so glad I got it done, feels good.

I do suppose it'll be much easier, but, no, not yet. I just wanna play more Necrodancer now, since it's so enjoyable to play with easier characters, and then, well, Bloodstained is coming out. But don't worry, I will inevitably buy Cadence of Hyrule at some point.

Not unless it lets you play the game with two Switch accounts at once.

Well, the "multiple Switches per household" thing has come true in my household at least; my little brother got tired of having to share my Switch and me not letting him take it on the go, so he has just bought his own.

EB Games had a big discount with the Switch marked down to $400 AUD, so he took the plunge.

This is a guy who by the way has a gaming PC stronger than an Xbox One X.

Kind of hoping the slightly more powerful switch rumor is true, caue then would become a dual household too. Some games, I want to play with girlfriend like Stardew Valley, yet she don't have a switch. Hardly want to purchase a whole new switch for some co-op play. But if a new switch comes out that makes say loading slightly faster and no lag in BotW and others, then I would purchase that and have to systems then.

I still wish Nintendo did a new Duck Hunt or Wild Gunman for use with LABO VR Blaster. It'd been a great way to reuse forgotten NES-era shooters.

The Switch version of Dauntless is being ported by Iron Galaxy, the studio who also ported Skyrim and Diablo 3 to the Switch.
