Hospitalization? Are you alright?

Pretty fine, actually, thanks. I got into the mental health hospital of my city and remained there for 3 weeks. I always wondered if there was going to be a huge announcement while I was out, but only Steve in Smash got me.

Glad to here you're okay. I know it's a rocky time for a lot of folks in terms of mental health, including myself, really hope you feel better ASAP.

Well, the promised patch for the notoriously rough Switch port of The Outer Worlds is finally out.

Having taken it for a quick 20 minute spin, it does indeed seem to run smoother, and with the addition of more vegetation the world looks less empty. Hats off to them for bothering instead of just cutting us loose like a lot of companies would've done.

Tried the FIFA21 hoping that it would be a better stuff than what the FIFA20 was. Well... i was wrong trusting EA to make something decent on switch, considering the fact that they said that "NOW" they would take the switch more seriously.
What a disgrace. For the second consecutive year, they made an updated version of FIFA19 calling it FIFA21.
stright to hell EA.

With my purchase of Hotshot Racing just now, my Switch collection has now passed my Wii U collection in total games, though it passed it in quality a long time ago.

Is the dev that did the port the same one as the Witcher 3 port devs? If so it makes sense, they put in a lot more work than anyone reasonably expected them to post-launch.

I really enjoyed Pikmin 3 demo, but paying 60 USD for a 12-hour length game doesn't feel right to me. Maybe I will wait a couple of months and buy used

It's a different porting house, Virtuos, they also did the Switch ports of Dark Souls and Starlink among others. Witcher 3 was Saber, they also did Crysis Remastered.

Q2 report should be either this week or next.

Really liking Hotshot Racing.
As someone who grew up in the 4th gen its flat shaded polygon look is nicely nostalgic, though obviously enhanced by a HD picture a very sexy 60fps, and the cars feel great to drive, with just the right amount of tightness and agility as you drift around corners or zip between rivals.
True to the source material, its pretty much impossible to break ahead of the pack as rival racer stick right behind you like glue, but that's a small quibble as it hasn't stopped me winning every race so far on Normal difficulty. Overall, it's an excellent love letter to the arcade racers of the 90s.

Thanks Rol for the recommendation.

Have any new Switch Online games been added this month?

No. They only add games every couple of months. The last update was in september.
