Far out I'm glad I didn't let Digital Foundry and the like convince me not to buy The Outer Worlds, it's the best games I've played in quite a while.

The sheer variety of different ways it can be played depending on your choices is remarkable, the writing is excellent, and the combat is as good as some dedicated action games. The port definitely could've been better, and it sure ain't a looker, but I'm liking it a lot.

When I played it on the PRO it's stand out features were excellent characterisation and story especially the script but The rest I found ok, if I had to wrap it up in a nutshell I would describe it as a game where the developer has created a great story and characters on a par with the best games of this gen unfortunately design wise they stayed in familiar territory, the funny thing is this means that even though DF are right and you should play it elsewhere if you can, just like Outer Worlds strengths outweighed its dated design on the other platforms, those same strengths are what makes it a worthwhile Switch game and I'm glad you are enjoying it.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

I bought my copy of Ring Fit adventure today on eBay because this is just sold out everywhere

Paid 90 UK pounds on it, now I'm going to pay at least another 50 GBP on taxes to import, by far the most expensive game I've ever bought. Hoping (praying) to enjoy it

I can't believe I finally reached 100 jumps in the rope jumping mini game (before that I had two attempts where I got 98 and 99 jumps), it was torture, literally torture

Apex Legends on the Switch supports gyro aiming, Respawn says it was a "challenge" to port but that they're happy with the results.

So now that Xenoblade DE is out ...... X port when? I know they basically deconfirmed it a while ago but, I imagine it might be on the table now. I guess 3 and the new IP are more likely to be the next 2 releases, though.

Better yet, kill two birds with one stone and make a Definitive Edition that's a port with an epilogue story and remastered graphics

Given X's musical reputation, that would be quite the accomplishment.
