Isn't MDK over 20 years old now? Or am I thinking of the wrong thing? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDK_(video_game))

OMG I was right! I was just messing around when I answered.

Ah, club Nintendo. Old school indeed.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Does anyone think Switch will revive dead or dying Nintendo IPs? Switch is mid-life, even if it's the beginning of the middle. Most heavy-hitters are already on Switch or are announced.
I think we'll see Star Fox, Pikmin, and WarioWare on Switch. But I wouldn't call those IPs dead or dying.
I'm referring to these IPs: Chibi-Robo, Custom Robo, F-Zero, Golden Sun, Kid Icarus, Nintendogs, Pilotwings, Punch-Out!!, Wario Land, Wars.
I know that's not a complete list, as there are some IPs that only got one game throughout the years.
I think Nintendogs is a no-brainer. The Switch has so many different kind of players that would be interested in such a game.
Chibi-Robo saddens me. If it comes back, it needs to be like the original game and the Japan-only 3rd game on DS.
F-Zero seems pretty dead, but who knows.
Kid Icarus really needs a new game. Pit was revamped, and I'd like to see a sequel to Uprising. Better controls and graphics are a given.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 151 million (was 73, then 96, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 57 million (was 60 million, then 67 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

Well, they have revived dead/dormant series many times before; Kid Icarus 3DS, Starfox Zero, Punch-Out Wii, Excite Truck, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Luigi's Mansion 2, etc.

I would love to see an F-Zero revival but I'm afraid they screw it up somehow like they did with Starfox Zero.

Depends on the IP. Nintendogs seems like a no brainer and I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened yet.  I could see Pilotwings happening particularly more as a budget title.  Golden Sun and Punch Out!!! I don't really see happening.

Kid Icarus seems to be the biggest opportunity.  Although, Kid Icarus' controls were great and need no improvement.  Git good.

Nintendo tends to front load their consoles with games in their biggest franchises and get into more niche stuff as time goes on, so there's a good chance we'll see at least some revivals.  Personally hoping for Wave Race.

I have a feeling that because of the Switch's lifespan, we may get a bit of a whiplash cycle where we get some heavy hitters later than we'd usually expect them. We haven't even gotten an original Mario Kart title for the Switch yet, I imagine that will be coming within the next 1-2 years or so.

I dunno if they'll release a new Mario Kart.  This one is doing so well that they may try to ride it out so that it will be a bigger deal when they release it for their next system.  Only other major franchise that I could think of that hasn't had a new title is DK and maybe 2D Mario depending on how you count Maker.  But even those have ports.  I'd personally rather they focus on B/C/New franchises, but that's just me.
