I only need 4 power moons to have them all in Mario Odyssey but they're literally a nightmare to get

Is jumproping or volleyball involved?

I'm just desperately hanging out for June 5th and The Outer Worlds, which will be my first Switch purchase in over 7 months. Damn thing's collecting more dust than a vacuum cleaner.

Hopefully Doom Eternal and Blair Witch aren't too far behind.

Was this confirmed somewhere? E3 is cancelled but they could still have a video presentation on their own if they're able.

Not officially confirmed, but rumored that Nintendo is unable to record a presentation of the usual quality due to the corona restrictions, therefore the planned major June Direct is getting postponed until an unspecified later date.

Damn that would surely mean games are being pushed back as well. This shitty virus, safe to say BotW 2 ain't happening this year. Guess I might get Xenoblade sooner than I thought if there's really gonna be nothing else after it for the year.

Well I'm used to shitty quality video of reporters reporting from their homes so Nintendo should just put their CEO in pajamas and film direct at his house showing game clips.

Yea Nintendo would never go a holiday season without a least one big hitter. Well maybe happened during 3DS/Wii U era but they are focused on one system now.

No need to jump the gun. Nintendo's fiscal year report is due this week and that also means a Q&A session with investors who are bound to ask how corona is going to impact Nintendo's business in the coming months.

I am pretty sure that Nintendo had games scheduled for July to September and if corona is really causing delays, then those games are getting pushed back into the holiday quarter while games originally scheduled for the holidays are likely to slip into next year. The worst case as I see it is that June to September have no first party releases, but the holiday quarter won't be empty. But we'll know soon enough how we have to set our expectations for the rest of 2020.

I just feel like if there were games planned for July-September, we should know them already, so I'm not so confident that your worst case scenario is the worst case. In regards to BotW2, if the July-September games are delayed, surely that would mean BotW2 is as well. I pegged it as the holiday release were it to come this year. I'd love to be wrong about all this of course.

They would never plan to... but things happen.

That being said, delays are always a possibility so I wonder if they have some plan B games that could be promoted to holiday titles if need be.

For the volleyball one, it's much easier if you do it with two players.  Even if you're alone though, it's still easier if you just control cappy.  He moves so much quicker than Mario.

Nintendo are lousy with delays and droughts even at the best of times, so I am braced for no more major new first party games for the rest of the year.

Hopefully third parties can pick up the slack and save 2020 from being a total loss.
