Anyway, what do you think Next Level Games will be doing after they're finished with Luigi's Mansion 3 related stuff?

I would love a Super Mario Strikers from them, but I could see them working on another Punch Out entry. Maybe an Arms 2 if there ever is such a thing.

Never played Devil May Cry, so is that good news or bad news?

It makes this version arguably the best in the series and genre even more so than before as it's essentially now the most complete DMC game, switching styles in open gameplay adds a heavy layer of depth that the other games are going to struggle to match especially as DMC3 has more styles and weapons than other DMC games.

I was sure there was a post here about Metro Redux getting rated for Switch, but I can't seem to find it now. Anyway, yeah, it's a thing, out 28th of Feb.

The port has been developed in-house by 4A, and will be entirely on the game card with no mandatory download

Oh, and the developer has confirmed Metro Redux on Switch has gyro aiming.

I remember when people bemoaned motion controls, yet here we are wanting them back.

I don't think it's the same people. Plenty of folks, like myself, grew to like motion controls on the Wii and never wanted them gone, and so are thrilled that they're still being implemented in Switch games like, Doom, Wolfenstein, etc.

The folks who bemoaned them probably still don't like them, but since they're almost always optional on Switch, they can just play without them.

I don't see them sending this list out only to make it outdated shortly after, so likely another sign there's no general Direct soon. On the bright side, Silksong is on there, but on the downside again, BotW2 isn't. The list ain't gospel of course, I still believe BotW2 will make it this year.
