The best Switch game ever comes out in a little bit more than 6 months

Around the Network

Want to post some shots of the game:

This game looks aaaaawwwwwwwesome! I hope they don't delay it. Considering that this is the first trailer, it looks like it's already close to completion or at least very far in development.

YES

I'm glad someone shares in the hype with me. Platinum you are the best!

Eh, I'm far from Platinum's biggest fan to be honest. Haven't played nearly any of their games, only a couple hours of The Wonderful 101 (not a fan of), and Star Fox Zero, which doesn't really count as I played it for the Star Fox and not for the Platinum (then again you can see most of its flaws came from Miyamoto rather than Platinum). Haven't ever been interested in Bayonetta, just not my kind of thing thematically although I can imagine the games being awesome, haven't played Nier Automata even though I kinda want to, so, yeah.

In other words, when it comes to Astral Chain, well... YES

glad we agree

I just really hope Doom Eternal is a 2019 release on Switch; while I will buy and most likely really enjoy stuff like Yoshi's Crafted World, Team Sonic Racing, Luigi's Mansion 3, etc, 2019 (while strong) is still missing for me that special kind of game that I desperately want and am ultra hyped for, since Bayo 3 is looking like a 2020 release.

The second half of 2019 looks stacked for the Switch. Last year was a bit of a downer, was only interested in 2 games. However this year I'm looking forward to Mario Maker, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Wargroove, Grid Autosport, Link's Awakening, Fire Emblem, among other games.

That direct was trash though. as a person not into JRPG or Character Action, there was nothing too substansial outside the tentpoles.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Bill Trinnen claims Bayo 3 is coming "sooner than expected, later this year" so at least that means there's a good chance she'll be at E3.

Only thing is I kinda doubt it'll be coming this year if only cos Astral Chain is hitting in August and releasing 2 action games from Platinum just a few months apart seems like overcrowding. I suspect Nintendo will slip Bayo 3 into early 2020 like with Tropical Freeze and Yoshi's Crafted World.

Listening to the audio podcast that comes from I kind of have a feeling that Bill was talking about Bayonetta 3 and then switched over to talking about Astral Chain mid sentence.

Still, I do definitely thin a February/March release for Bayonetta 3 was what we are going to see.

Yeah listening to it again it's really annoyingly unclear which game he means; it'd be very strange for Bayo 3 to slated for 2019 when it's already so packed, but it'd also be strange to say Astral Chain is coming "sooner than expected" when it was given a release date at the same time it was revealed.
