Updated the link to the Official VGC Server on the OP since it was out of date. For those interested, we recently added a bot that adds some Pokemon-centric features like catching & collecting. If anyone's interested in these features or wants to join the conversation, feel free to join in here!

Can the Melee mob please just go one day with out any drama please, how are you lot trying to argue about banning Puff and ICs because your favourite players lost to them come on man, can we also pass an international law that prevents Leffen from even talking as well.

Wait...you mean banned in Melee?  Hbox only just recently became the definitive best player in Melee after years and years of constant back and forth between him and other non-puff players.  There's no patches for Melee, so how on earth do these people get it in their heads that puff needs to be banned NOW?

Capgods need to use their bigthonk to come up with an original title, just make it aesthetically cartoony with the features from World, you can do it (and you can have more than 27 monsters at launch with this kind of budget, too!!!!)

Eh, personally I'd prefer it if they kept the series artstyle, I wouldn't want it to be any more cartoony than it already is, but that's just me.

Oh I agree. But I don't think Monster Hunter: World is as cartoony as the past entries, and since it's the newest original game (i.e. not an upgraded edition), I was putting that as the standard. Which, I don't want it to be. A more graphically demanding game with the artstyle similar to the 3ds games is the way to go, imo. I love the way MH:W looks but I think it wouldn't be as well suited for Switch with that style.

Well, chalk another one under the column "3rd Party titles that sold 1 million on the Switch"

Nintendo Planning Ways To "Boost The Appeal" Of Switch Online Service On A Yearly Basis

Nintendo has confirmed that it plans to "boost the appeal" of its Nintendo Switch Online service going forward, with more details set to be announced when the company is ready.

The news comes from a financial briefing Q+A, where Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has spoken about the service's early success and how it will evolve in the future. It was recently confirmed that more than 8 million accounts had subscribed to the service, although it has now been revealed that more and more customers are choosing to opt for short subscription plans, rather than the longer 12-month option.

Furukawa: "We do think Nintendo Switch Online has had a good start coming out of the holiday season, helped in large part by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

We are not disclosing details by each membership plan but among consumers who have purchased memberships, however, a growing percentage is now opting for shorter plans like the one-month membership. This is in contrast to the situation around the end of October of last year, when we reported that over half were opting for a 12-month family or individual membership."

Maybe we can not get drip fed games from the 80s then, that would be a nice improvement

Sooooooooo...... it seems King Zeal(an insider at Resetera which seems to be credible) is teasing a direct for 13th February, and also leaked some games to expect either for this direct or for this year.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
