Because on the Nintendo website (link below) only the 10 best sellers of each console appear. In the case of Switch, the list is already complete and in the next update will enter the games that already mentioned and some will have to leave (which already mentioned also)

I could understand if it was a comment made before the system's launch, but check out the date; he was saying in late December 2017 that he felt it was headed for Gamecube numbers lifetime.

That's what makes it so funny.

It reminds me of the Wii even one year after it was selling like mad the were people saying it's running out of steam and will stop selling now the same people who wrote it off deny that anyone thought the Wii wasn't going to sell it's the same thing with Switch years from now people will deny that anyone ever thought it was going to flop.
