One year and almost 8 months on BOTW is still making the NPD top 20, SMO year on is also doing the same we get the second quarter results next week so should be interesting what the updated numbers are.

Trine 4 announced, coming to Switch (and PS4/Xbone/PC) next year:

I don't know, maybe they needed to fix something so they needed more time to do so.

If every version gets pushed back to next year and the release stays simultaneous, that'd be fine. But if they push back just the Switch version, they're idiots, the version with the highest sales potential should get top priority, it's only logical.

Starting to get the distinct feeling that Team Sonic Racing, or at least the Switch version, ain't coming out this year.

It's nearly October and not only does it not have a release date, (just "Winter 2018") but there's been relatively little shown of the game in general, only the PS4 version has been playable at events, and even that version apparently chugs hard.

Really beginning to suspect that Sumo/Sega will be stupid enough to delay the Switch version to 2019, despite the fact it clearly has the most sales potential of the three consoles and should be the lead platform.

Welp at least it wasn't only the Switch version that got hit by the delay, but a May release is pretty bad...

Late May is a bigger delay than I expected (I would've said March) but I ain't mad, it did feel like it needed extra work. Unfortunately, this does mean I'll likely only have bought one Switch game in all of 2018, but at least next year is looking much more plentiful.

I'm glad it's a May delay. It looked really boring and rough around the edges. No where near the excitement you get from watching a game of Mario Kart

The delay is probably to avoid holiday and Q1 attention competition. Getting out of these busu periods might help it gain some attention.

I'm sure it'll be a better game for it, but it does now raise the possibility I could go nearly 11 months without buying a new Switch game, between Wolfenstein II this June and now TSR next May. Hopefully something new gets announced for the 7 months til then, or games like the long-delayed Switch version of Redout or the newly announced Trine 4 arrive to fill the void.

I know everyone has their own tastes and all, but the saving grace for your Switch is going to be Team Sonic Racing? ... You have Smash Bros, Yoshi, and Fire Emblem all coming out between then, and while I'm pretty sure I remember you saying you don't care about Fire Emblem, I for sure thought you were one of the few people who was very interested in Yoshi
