We got a fresh rumor people !!

.....What?

Instead of making an actual F-Zero game, which makes far more sense for already being futuristic and Captain Falcon already being popular thanks to Smash, they go to Star Fox, which have been on serious difficulty on delivering good games and selling well, and makes a wanna-be F Zero? This makes zero sense.

Even if they wanted to implement space races, it wouldnt be far fetched to implement that on F-Zero itself. As I said, its already a game set in the future, and them having spacecrafts would be almost garanteed. This just sounds and smaells fake to me.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

It's trending on Twitter...

A Star Fox racing spinoff doesn't sound promising, but I'm sure many of us were skeptical as to whether or not they could pull off a Donkey Kong title, so I would definitely give it a chance if there's any truth to this rumor...

Have a nice day...

Eurogamer heard similar things ... not a rumor you can brush iff like that, sorry.

Seems like they'Re doing their own interpretation of Star Fox on this one.

It still seems REALLY weird.I mean, it could turn great.Hell, if they implement combat into the racing a la Pursuit Force, it could turn into an excellent game.Still, its a rather.... bizarre idea.Specially since it suggest that retro was working on it while Star Fox Zero was still developing.I dont think that Nintendo would develop two games at once on an IP that has been failing recently. But then again, they were working on two metroids at once.

I dont know, this seems fake to me.But, I guess we will see.

Honestly sounds like a waste of their talents if its true.
But if I can get a good arcade racer again that isnt Mario Kart and actually has some single player content like Sonic Racing Transformed did I guess I'll take it

It's not like they're gospel. Eurogamer also heard Pokemon Stars was a thing.

It could be a Star Fox and F-Zero crossover. Afterall Star Fox and F-Zero do take place in the same universe according to Star Fox Command :P

it could be the above... yes!

Eh, not a fan of Fast Racing Neo. It's okay, but nowhere near as cool as F-Zero, it just doesn't have that distinctive, creative level design, doesn't feel as tight controls-wise, and is overall just a really generic game with no soul whatsoever. Of course, the latter would probably be fine as long as a game is called F-Zero, but still, eh.

I take issue with the no soul thing, but that is an oft dragged out ethereal thing tied to taste.  It's definitely its own style though, it's not just a clone.  RMX though I think is a big improvement to Neo.  Better controls, the new added tracks through the DLC and Neo specifically are cooler and more creative.

I think if they were brought in to partner with another team with Shin'en handling the technology side and some of the gameplay and another team to help refine the gameplay and of course beef up their resources to help create things like a more fleshed out campaign and other things to give it more character, Shin'en could help make a great F-Zero game.  Or push Fast to the next level, which I would also like to see.

New story footage from Nintendo's Japanese youtube channel for Mario Tennis Aces. This looks like my game of the year lol. Shadow Luigi tries to take people out, interesting looking boss fights and courts! Day 1 for me.

Also the online tournament time for Japan is June 1st at 6 to June 3rd 11:59.

Edit: Also we see a little bit of footage of Spike for the first time.
