As a big fan of motion controls I love that the Switch provides a platform where they live on. With Doom now joining the throng, we have a broad range of motion-enabled experiences available on the system, it really does feel like the true successor to the Wii.

What I like about most of the motion controls on Switch is they are usually enhancements to traditional gameplay.  I loved the motion in Zelda because it didn't forcefully replace traditional aiming, but acted as an enhancement that made me far more precise.

Yeah I agree, and for the people that hated them outright there's no issue because they're entirely optional. Less for people to complain about and more of just choosing which style suits you.

Oh hey apparently I'm #40 in the Top 100. The list can only be seen through the crappy app, so can't check myself. Needa look into getting an smartphone emulator thingy for PC. Maybe once I can check the results I'll be motivated to try for Top 5 like I used to do in the first game.

NOICE!!

Thanks, but you didn't answer my question. This be why we never end up playing together. :L

I'm new to Splatoon series so far I'm terrible XD

It really does require an adjustment period.  It's a different way of thinking about a shooter.

I'm terrible at both 1st and 3rd person shooters not named Halo 3 though painting the surroundings does help me help the team though :D

Yeah that's the fun part of Splatoon, even if you suck at combat, if you are quick and strategic with painting territory, you can be a big help.

The Japanese news is scaring me how do I change it to english default back?

Unfortunately Nintendo doesn't let you toggle News Feed off, so as long as you have a Japanese region account on your Switch, you'll continue to get Japanese news. I have the same problem since I have accounts for each region

I'm currently playing this awesome indie game Dandara and now it's gotten me into a metroidvania kind of mood. Does anyone have any good recommendations on Switch other than Axiom Verge please?
