Thanks! I was wondering how I'd make the leveling up process shorter. That's really useful. I'm also working to get Ryoma's A support skill, which make attacks 50% faster. That sounds really helpful for more advanced levels. But I guess I'd do Marth's support first.

Some other pro tips to advance in the game? I don't know yet how I'm supposed to improve characters' personal weapons, if that's possible (which I think it will be).

I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for Marth's skill, the game is already easy enough to progress through (I've had no trouble atleast), and building up supports takes a long time, so better to invest in other skills over an unnecessary skill that eventually becomes useless. Astra on the other hand is awesomeness! You'll want that on every character you regularly use. Trample, Solidarity, and Luna are also very good for everyone.

After you beat a history map, missions will pop up that have personal weapon scrolls as the S rank reward. I would beat the story first before getting too deep in History mode though, but up to you of course!

I've been enjoying the game aswell, infact it's making me crave the mainseries again. Was gonna hold out until FE Switch, but if there's a deal for it this holiday I think I'll pick up SoV afterall!

Sometimes I like to max up lvl characters (it took a long, long time in HW but I managed to did it XD), so even if I wouldn't have problems advancing, I think the skill might come handy for me in the end. And, yep, I'm working on Astra, I think it could be a pretty neat skill.

About History mode, I'm doing some quests at the same time I'm beating Story Mode. I didn't go deeper though, but I assumed that I'd be able to improve personal weapons through this mode, glad to know I was right! And, yep, I can't wait for a main FE game.

I did a quick poll with current college students and they all said they are going to download Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for their iPhone or Android. They are super excited; much more so than they were for Super Mario Run. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

The entire model just seems like a better fit for casual & curious players, I'm not surprised that more people seem interested. The second most mobile players see a price tag on a game, they run away.

The dolphin says no to EXP, but anyone who intends to buy the DLC should be prepared for a rise of the level cap and history maps that require high stats and feature more battles with character restrictions. Besides, if the argument is that the game is too easy as it is, why should you opt for offensive skills that are bound to improve your characters more in the short term than level ups. Astra makes things a lot more manageable than the meager stat bonuses from a few additional level ups.

Keep an eye out for the S-rank rewards on history maps. If you beat battles that grant B (silver sword etc.) or A (whatever their name in other languages is) ranked weapons, they will be added into the mix of weapons that can randomly drop from enemies in all modes. The sooner you manage to beat such battles, the sooner you can build up an arsenal of weapons that have up to 240 attack power. On the same note, if you've got a weapon you know you will use for a while, forge in the three skills that grant higher weapon quality from drops, more weapon slots from drops and higher drop rate of rare items. The former two will improve the weapons you find notably while the latter will allow you to gain more of the materials you need for character builds.

The dolphin is once again going to see that the game is already too easy, but it's better to be safe than sorry in preparation for the DLC. Hyrule Warriors required quite a lot of grinding because the later DLC upped the ante significantly.

Lastly, the hardest battles in Fire Emblem Warriors have a recommendation of level 80, so it really doesn't hurt if you work towards that and have several characters that have at least level 60. The five history maps overlap in their general difficulty, so it's also worth it to switch between them instead of trying to fully complete one before moving on to the next. Maps 4 and 5 unlock most of the A-ranked weapons.

If you're getting the DLC and want to max level your characters then sure go for it. I'm not gonna get the DLC though. I enjoy the game but not enough for that, especially when most of the characters are probably just gonna be clones. The game is relatively easy for me either way, the offensive skills just let me get through it faster and make it possible for me to beat missions despite my units being as much as 30 levels below the map's level.

Yep, I intend to buy the season pass, so I guess I should level up the characters as quick as possible. I remember being in some HW DLCs pretty under-leveled, so that won't happen again. I'm also switching between maps 1 to 3 in the History Mode (I haven't unlocked the last two maps yet) and I've beaten the under-20 recommended level in the three of them. About the skills you mentioned, I tend to use those three skills in my weapon of choice, so normally the drops are pretty good. What about Rainstorm? I don't know how much difference there's in percentage, but I tend to use that skill too. I don't if the skills which grant you bonuses agains mounted, dragon, armored, etc. units are recommended, because they efectively make you weaker agains other units (if I remember right).

So you can beat a History Mode quest with 30 levels below? I guess I should be less of a coward and try everything then XD.

I had to go for it since I figured that'd be the only really challenging missions I'd get in this game. Now that all my units are Lv.50 or higher and the highest difficulty seems to be Lv.80, it's only going to get easier from here on so it was definitely worth the limited time experience! Actually having to use almost all staves n potions was a nice change of pace!

The Strong # skills make more of a difference than Rainstorm, and the slayer skills are extremely good (on maps where they're relevant ofc), well worth the damage decrease which also doesn't stack and doesn't affect upgraded personal weapons. Wingslayer/Dracoslayer + Armorslayer and the Pegknights are effective against almost everything. Didn't care much for Hinoka before but damn is she legit in this game!

Do we have any news when Nintendo will give full details about their coming online service?

On another note: I finished Samus returns and found it to be a great game .

So I started Super Mario Odyssey but without the Odyssey! After finishing getting all the moons in that kingdom aside from the achievement moons, I had so many covering the screen that I was curious to see just how far it would go, and what happens when it get's to the bottom. (Don't tell me if you know!) Thus I'll be using the paintings to backtrack since you can't use the Odyssey without putting the moons you've collected into it. I have no idea if I can even get to all main kingdoms this way so that'll be interesting to find out too. (Also don't tell!)

I don't know, just making the backtracking process a bit more fun for myself. :L

They'll bring it up again next year, probably in the January direct. We already know most everything about it ($20/year, NES/SNES games with online play), we just need an exact date for when we gotta start paying.

Also, curse you for bringing this up! Everyone's high on Nintendo and the Switch right now and you gotta remind us that it's not all butterflys and rainbows.

Apparently, jokes aren't allowed here. :U

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I wouldn't say everything. The updates we got, didn't give me the impression that Nintendo themselves were confident on the details of it. It seemed to be a bit in the air.

We don't know how the VC will be integrated. Will all games from the VC fall under the service in the future?

Will there be digital discounts if you have the service? (Iwata talked about such features in the past.)
