Team Vamp with the clean 3-0 sweep! I think even Team Werewolves can agree that Marina definitely deserved to lose after giving us that obnoxious Shifty Station layout.

BOOM!  Perfect run continues!  Didn't get to participate hardly at all but hey, I do know how to pick em! xD

Played through Primose's story in the Octopath Traveller demo and, yeah, not a fan.

The battle system ruins an otherwise interesting game; every enemy is just such a damage sponge, it turns every fight into a tedious, drawn out slog.

Are those news and report about a GameBoy 30th anniversary re-release true?

Man I feel like I played a completely different game from some people commenting on it.  I thought the battle system was quite good and in the bigger battles added a new layer of strategy.

I think the big issue though is too much of the deml is fighting low level mobs which, like in most old school RPGs, are kinda blah.

Yeah, it was actually the lower level mobs that annoyed me; I can understand a boss fight being long, but fighting the lower level grunts just dragged on.

Having played past the demo story and picked up another party member, I will say that is greatly alleviated with just one extra guy.

Strange, I felt the opposite. You just charge ability attacks on foes where their guard is broken. They drop like flies.
