Forums - Politics Discussion - An Oceanside minister supported Trump. Gets deported

Source: http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-minister-deported-20170630-story.html

Jorge Ramirez, an Oceanside minister and immigrant who is in the country illegally, didn’t think he would end up in line for deportation when he encouraged his U.S. citizen daughter to vote for now-President Trump.

In an interview at the Otay Mesa Detention Center, Ramirez — who said he holds conservative religious beliefs and considers himself a Republican — explained that Border Patrol agents picked him up after staking out his house early one May morning.

Ramirez said he does not know why he was targeted for removal from the U.S. The Trump administration has said that it is focusing on immigrants with criminal records and those who previously have been ordered deported. Ramirez said he falls into neither category.

“Trump said, ‘Let’s keep all the good people here and all the bad people out,’” Ramirez said.

What an idiot. Good person or not doesn't matter, because of his shallow thinking, supporting Drumpf, and being in the US illegally made things worse on himself and others, not better.

So what? He was in the country illegally. Trump or Clinton, he should be deported until he immigrates legally.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Isn't it great? How you're somehow illegal in one plot of land because you were born in another plot of land, and decided to move to it?

I think with Clinton he would be given the chance to be legalized here without being separated from his family.

Yes it's brilliant actually.

I work with the bad kind of illegals. Including literal rapists and pedophiles. I Would like to see more get deported honestly. It was good to hear some of our growers actually get hit by ICE. About time we get some law and order. No amount of propaganda will change my morals. Illegal immigration is unfair to legal immigrants, our own poor, and taxpayers. He needs to be part of the solution to his country so I don't feel bad even if he identifies as Republican or whatever. I look at Sweden and I don't want to turn America into a third world country like them. The culture divide is already so strong and I'm a mixed American saying that.

They not just arbitrary designed though, without boarders the values you hold dear will mean nothing and even if they share all the same values no country could support taking everyone in, so everyone living in poverty is better? There's a system to apply for citizenship if you avoid this not only should you be deported but never allowed entry again.
