Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Rumor: Crash coming to Xbox One this December.

And the Crash exclusivity battle rages on...

I feel pretty sure this isn't true. Even if it was a timed exclusive, 6 months seems like a weird number. At least a year would make sense.

Hum... I'm not sure... it's labelled "Only on Playstation", I think they don't put this for time exclusives.

It's possible that the deal hasn't been ironed out yet. They certainly didn't say it was exclusive at E3, when it would have been perfect time to.

And thats what gives them the rights to those 3 games.

Same deal with Nintendo and Bayo 2. SEGA cant touch that game without Nintendo involvement.

Nintendo published Banjo-Kazooie and I didn't see that stop Rare Replay from happening, I don't think publishing a game gives you it's rights, I mean Sony published Minecraft.

It depends on the deal between the publisher and developer. Sony publishes Stardust, but they don't have the IP rights. Same with MS and Ryse. Sony also published Ratchet and Clank and retained the rights.

So with Xbox original compatibility in the making, and if this turns out to be true,, the X1 might end up with more Crash games than PS4 :).

That's just wrong, seeing that box art with the xbox one outlay :(

I know right... awful to see Crash on the xbox.... wait

Oh yeah, it's been on the platform for years, but I guess that means we're looking at 6months exclusivity for the PS4 and then it's open to go where it wants.... possibility of the switch getting a version is fairly low I would wager though, considering this runs at just 30fps on the PS4 would take a bit of downsampling on the effects and resolution to maintain that framerate even.

Those games were awfull on every system . That said this is a remake of the first three Crash games that were exclusives on Playstation, so i'm not sure if they can just release the game on any other system.

Would be a little suprised if it would really be so, but the ip do not belong to sony anymore...

Pc guys!!! I want it on PC!!!! 4K!!!

Intel Core i7 8700K | 32 GB DDR 4 PC 3200 | ROG STRIX Z370-F Gaming | RTX 3090 FE| Crappy Monitor| HTC Vive Pro :3

The game was listed on EB Games awhile back for Xbox and PC. Not sure about now.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

They don't though. They only published the first games on PS1.

If that were the case, then Sony would be the publisher on N Sane Trilogy, not Activison. They only have a current exclusive deal in place. Crash was never Sony's IP.
