Strange really

I doubt they're reusing much, if any, code, but who knows. That said, they're probably looking at the code of the original games very carefully to capture all the minor gameplay nuances.

Well, yes. That's precisely why. Similar to if MGS4 had ever come to the 360. All of the PlayStation references would have had to be removed.

Only one I know of is coco's laptop at beginning of Crash 2 shows a scene from uncharted on it. But I think there's multiple references.

I wouldn't put too much faith in this rumour though, even if Crash IS a timed exclusive, the time period just isn't right. It would surely be at the very least 6 months, which takes you up to the 31st of December.

Same deal with Nintendo and Bayo 2. SEGA cant touch that game without Nintendo involvement.

Nintendo published Banjo-Kazooie and I didn't see that stop Rare Replay from happening, I don't think publishing a game gives you it's rights, I mean Sony published Minecraft.
