(Cont'd) Oh, and about those other companies' shitty practices, you know what else those "other" companies don't do? This.

#FucKonami.

Can we stop telling people what they should and shouldn't care and talk about that they have a legal right to discuss freely on the internets?

Oh and and #FucKonami! And I don't even play Kojima games or particularly care about the man more than I care about people in general.

I'm actually on Konami side in terms of firing him, just not what they did after. Honestly he overproduces and clouds his own vision and cost the company insane amount of money I image, and I miss when he was limited by technology to make good games.

Also I agree with Pokoko Suikoden is why people should go fuck Konami.

That's not true. I mean, the budget for MGS V was 80 million and it made 179 million on it's opening day. MGS 4 sold 4 million copies. There's no way it lost Konami money. There's no proof anywhere that anything he did at Konami lost money. Not that I know of. Feel free to prove me wrong.

Only Kojima games I really loved is Snatcher,Policenauts and Metal Gear Rising. Other than that the Konami games I loved had nothing to do with him. I never reallly got caught up in the drama. Many companies are dicks. People don't boycott Nintendo for how they treated Gunpei or how badly Sony treated Sakaguchi and so on. Companies are dicks some really are dicks.

I just explained why this is a false equivalency, but go on and continue to be Konami's lapdog.

#FucKonami til the end of time.

Lapdog? I rarely buy anything from them and the last one I did is Rising. I am more of a fan of their 90s work like ZAMN,Goemon,Gradius,Castlevania pre SOTN and a big fan of Hudson pre Konami. You're attempting flamebait.Seriously dude, chill out. If you keep that up you might get banned so ease up.

By costs, I do not necessarily mean Metal Gear Solid V necessarily having loss, I mean the costs of all his projects and the cost of Kojima Production Studio, the dead ones included. Since the whole Kojima situation and fallout, the company has been making a higher profit for the company, even with revenue taking slight hit (gaming division becoming smaller, but margins being sooo much better) and are expected to earn more profit and return on investment in FY2018.

I imagine if Kojima could have been within budgets set aside for him, they would have been super happy with him, and would have never got rid of him.

Add: Plus 80 million (Development cost, not even counting Marketing costs) for game that still needed more money based on the results, most likely did not get costs back right away either, I am assuming 179 million is just revenue of sales(not counting the breakdown of what goes to developer, publisher, retail, console maker, transportation), but the point I am making is in terms of investment, I do not blame Konami, namely when projects like Horizon did more with half, it is all about the ROI!

However do not get me wrong, what they currently doing to Kojima is fucked up.

Mind grammar mistakes, I am also watching something live, and I for the love of me, cannot multitask.

Konami may be a horrible company but Kojima is probably not the one who suffered the most since he got at least rich with what he did and most other guys there can be happy to pay the bills.

He won't be the guy who doesn't know how to pay the rent when he's 70 and someone who works as waitress or whatever has probably many more problems as Kojima has. Kojima would probably even feel worse as he does if he would be an average VGC user instead of who he is lol.

He probably could have if developing games for Konami wasn't like trying to build a house with a shoe.
