So I've bought both cod4 and Horizon Zero Dawn in the past on my American psn account.  

But now I want to take advantage of the cod4 map pack sale being cheaper on the EU store.  I also want to take advantage of the ps plus discount for the horizon dlc. I'm not a member of ps plus on my American account so wouldn't be able to get it cheaper there.  

So my question is will the horizon and cod4 dlc if bought on my EU account work with my games bought on my American account?  I'll be playing said titles on the EU account.  The main games are region free I know that but are they compatible with dlc from another region? 

It never used to on PS3, I bought Disgaea 3 on US disc as it was out way before the EU copy then I bought the DLC and it never worked due to region difference.

I had the UK version of Uncharted 2 and it wasn't compatible with its European DLC, I think. If there's incompatibilities like that even inside Europe, I wouldn't expect things to work between continents.

By a mistake that was not my own, I bought TW3 dlc from an region 2 account on a USA cd. It didn't work.

I found out the hard way, bought Tales of Berseria dlc from the USA store for the gf. Wouldn't work on my EU copy.

I'm wondering why you bought the American versions of the games in the first place, instead of the European copies?

Cheaper plus they had the spend $100 promotion and get $15 credit which the EU didn't at the time.  I saved like €30 getting the complete cod4/IW edition on the American store.  So even though this sale will cost me €2 more on the American store I still get a better deal overall.  

Horizon was cheaper so even though I won't get the $5 discount I'm still getting it in dollars which is cheaper then the EU version.  And the full game at launch I got the same benefit.  I guess I'll just have to suck this up. 

You can download the US DLC though. Why not do that?

NOO. I didnt know and bought 5 Project diva f2 dlc on my Vita.
contacted customer services and they refuses to refund to me at first. Eventually after several complaints they finally agree to refund it.
