ffs leo-j, think with your brain. The console is heavily supply-constrained and PS4 is being adjusted by VGC because of undertracking. And it's common knowledge that most console have their peak year within the third year of their release. Give it a chance!

Not to mention if you look at the first months of PS4, it was doing about the same Switch is being doing (outside of launch because it had more supply due to... holiday season lol). Hell, Switch might match, or even surpass PS4's first 12 months if Nintendo supply enough units. I don't know how that's "struggling". Their stock is super high as well.

It's leo-j making a very superficial reading of the market.

I stopped taking anything this guy says seriously tbh. After months of the Switch beating out the PS4 in sales (not saying it will overtake it or anything) and there is ONE week that the PS4 sells slightly more due to supply constraints, and all of a sudden he says, "Switch is struggling, PS4 leading by large margin."

And that is just one of the many things wrong with this post! XD

A long time ago, he said "Outlast and _____ (some free to play for on PS4) are better than anything on Xbox One". I replied "Good because both of those games are on Xbox One!"

About that time was when I quit taking him seriously. That and the Lady Gaga obsession.

dont worry switch has its own factory. The SNES factory is covered in dust from a 30 year dormancy. It is now turned back on to FULL PRODUCTION for the next 2 months. Enjoy.

This seems very uninformed. They definitely have aren't pushing the 3DS line harder. It only had like 2 games shown at e3. Everything else was Switch. Wut?

You know that thing when you uhhh...and then you...hmmm. But then you have to...umm, Yuh.

They realise they wouldnt deliver enought switches(due competition with apple for memory), and as snes mini doesnt need the parts apple is competing with nintendo on switch, they are offering other product for the switch potential consumers that wouldnt be able to buy a switch.
makes completly sense.
I hope snes mini controlers work on switch

lol read whats in the box before complaining about the price.

the rest sounds like a random rant

What is Nintendo doing?

Easy and short answer, they are making money.

More longer answer, NES Mini from start was just a holiday item and main point is to use it like marketing tool for Nintendo and Nintendo games, Nintendo confirmed they are planing same with SNES Mini (it will be shipped only until end of this year). DS XL will help 3DS family to continue to sell good regardles Switch. NES Mini, SNES Mini and DS LX manufacturing don't have anything with Switch manifictuaring and they dont effect on Switch manifictuaring in any way. Switch is selling good despite huge shortages (saying that is struggle with sales is nonsense) and soon they will have bigger shipments.

Also I need to say, that points in OP (that are whitout sense) sound like they are written by some kid that don't know anything about gaming market.

LOL at OP

Obviously they did not anticipate such huge demand for nes mini and switch, which in turn demands higher production streams. Nobody can live up to a demand that exceeds production, in the beginning of a new product. Over time production goes up, and demand will fall a bit, then it sorts itself out.

They have already said, that production of switch will go up over the summer period, and that the snes mini will have higher production than the nes mini did, to meet demand.

I dont think that SNES Mini and NES Mini has anything with Switch, simple Nintendo is using NES Mini and SNES Mini on 1st place like marketing tool for Nintendo brand and Nintendo IP, and of course to earn some extra money.
