Trump backers who are salty about him taking heat for Russia don't have a leg to stand on IMO. There is a fair amount of proof that they have tried to influence elections, and you guys were going on full witchhunt over Hilary's emails which probably amounted to a wet fart in importance, now that it's your guy taking heat, you can't stand it. Tough. Can't have it both ways. 

How about criticizing both Hillary/Democrats/CNN and Trump/Republicans/Fox? They all must fall! (No, I'm not encouraging assassinations).

Yes, because one story didnt hit their editorial standards they are ALL fake news, of course.

And Trump's team doesn't constantly lie in TV. No sir! They are avatars of Honesty!

Likely not. It's good ratings for CNN regardless if it's fake and it coincides with their overall goal of attacking trump/any right leaning people. They'll just tone it down or straighten up for a bit then go right back at it.
