March the 3rd was like 115days ago.

So more like 165,600 Minuets give or take a day's worth of extra hours.

You just had to be that guy..

^-^ couldnt help myself :P

Anyways I agree with you, doing a "pro" version of the switch doesnt make sense.

However since they have issues getting components, maybe makeing a TV box only Switch, without useing the Screen/NAND/Motors for HD rumble, could be a fix? it could be sold much cheaper too (less expensive hard to get parts used overall).

199$ Switch-TV to help Nintendo not get f***ed over by Apple takeing all the parts they need.

Consumers win out, they get a choice about if they want the handheld aspect or not.

Plus it helps Nintendo quickly get sales up to the levels they want (not be held back by supply issues due to components).

Dosent make it less silly. If I see everything by the consumer side, then I wished Playstation first party games were in Nintendo systems, that everything should cost the manufacturing costs without profits factored in.While at that, make XBox gaming division exclusive to Switch too!

You are right, things such as business sense, making good decisions so that said companies dont go bankrupt and stop making the games we love, shouldnt be even considered.

Consumers decide. I couldn't care less if Nintendo goes bankrupt because no one wants to buy their consoles anymore.  That's called business. There are plenty of great game developers. Even better, if Nintendo actually goes bankrupt, all of their talented developers will be free to make games on way better hardware platforms.

The wealth of a company is no consumer's concern, especially in an age of oversaturation of entertainment options.

You are right.Consumers decide. And the consumer has decided that the Switch is worth buying, at least so far.You just have to look at the sales so far and how easily it goes out of stock.Thats why this TV-only mode is so silly, because, at least so far, the consumer want the Switch as it is, because it dosent stop selling.Or in another words, people want Nintendo hardware.People want to play on a hardware that gives them something superior that pure hardware power.Flexibility.Flexibility of play and to your own schedules.Something that no other hardware that you find "superior" has.(Unless you factor 3DS, but thats another Nintendo console that was really successful).

The wealth of a company is no consumer concern, for companies that you dont care much about and dosent give you the bang for your buck, the value that you deem acceptable for what you paid.Someone concern for something is a personal decision, and its the companys job to make you care for it, especially in an age of oversaturation of entertainment options. And so far, Nintendo has succeeded.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

new generation. same threads.

Just buy the fucking system!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Nintendo doesn't need to do anything like that. Switch seems to be selling really well as-is, and nothing needs to change for now. Maybe you'd like it to change, but it doesn't need to change.

Won't happen.

A switch by definition can switch. If you remove the ability to switch your switch, it's not a switch anymore.

switch.

Change the name slightly then. It's what they did when they released the 2DS

The Witch then?

Not quite 4months just yet, but almost.

That's a lot of classical music!

Nintendo needs nothing, except capitalize on their actual successful console by giving it even more features and expanded library of games.

No, no, no. The switch is perfect. We don't need mid gen upgrades. And you wouldn't be asking for better visualsnif the other two companies weren't so obsessed with visuals over innovation. Besides, this is Nintendo's pattern. They have two consoles that are visually similar back to back before a big leap. Gamecube and Wii we're similar, then big jump to Wii u, now switch is similar to that.
