It really begs the question if these people actually went to school as children. But I also heard that conspiracy theorists can suffer from some kind of mental disorder like paranoid schizophrenia.

Truth is these people have some sort of disorder like you said.

I have a family member that I was close with, but unfortunately he simply went nuts. He believes 9/11 was done by Jews, Barack Obama is the antichrist- the entire conspiracy theorist starter pack. 

Whenever he told me about his crazy ideas, I think it was obvious that the irrational ideas he spouted came from paranoia towards the government. I was a kid when I started hearing the bullshit, so unfortunately I turned into an eight year old who thought 9/11 was a hoax, George Bush ran the illuminati and believed the antichrist was gonna come in 2008. 

It's easy to manipulate these people, which makes them dangerous. Seeing them more often in the US has me worried at times. I don't want to see any more kids be brainwashed by nutjobs

You forgot christians that believe the world is only like 4000-8000 years old, because of them going by adam+eve and names in a bible to date the world.

People that dont believe in evolution.... like 40% of americans? believe in creationism.

Then theres people that think the moon landing is fake,.... even though you can see where they put out reflectors on the moon, and point lasers at them and get a beam back. I mean what does that prove right?

Well, conspiracy theorists like the ones who believe in the endtime phrophecies seem to be the most dangerous people around. As history wrote himself, a few people committed suicide because they were afraid to experience the end of the world. On one of CoolHardLogic videos it was also mentioned that teachers heard that parents wanted to kill their own children and then commit suicide because of fake prophecies. This is going way too far. This is the reality we live in.

Yes, I know of young earth creationists and their biggest apologists. Funny enough is that some are fighting with the flat earth believers. The one side saying God created a flat earth and the other one saying that God created a spinning ball. It's like crap vs shit. 

But I don't wanna make it a thread about religion, because we all know how they end.

I mean they gotta be just trolling or something. I mean come on.

At least those silly enough to believe that the Earth is flat and those kind of things don't make any physical harm to others.

But I do have a problem with those that spread shit that does harm to others, like those who claim that vaccines are bad. Two kids died here in Spain last year becuase their parents were stupid enough to believe that shit and they didn't vaccinate their children.

Those kind of people are disgusting and should be accused and send to jail, like those that run sites about anorexia and bulimia.
