It's not surprising. The definitive version will be on the more powerful consoles. The switch has the "portable" version.

It will be up to preference.

The game is still in beta Nem. You shouldn't judge a game on its beta stage.

A game in beta doesn't tend to change very much from the final version. Still, if you read what i said, i don't think theres any chance that won't be true. The switch version will naturally not be the best version technicly. I still don't think that is unexpected. Only way that wouldn't be true is if SEGA intentionally didn't take advantage of the extra power on the other systems.

Wut? HD Rumble probably cost them $10 or something. Are you implying they could make a 6 inch device match X1/PS4's specs had they abandoned HD Rumble?

It's incredibly powerful for such a little device. Actually, it's impressive it can handle such good graphics at 30fps at all. lol Don't expect miracles...

The Joy-cons cost $50 each for a reason. That is the same price as one Wiimote was 10 years ago. It has unnecessary technology for only one game (1,2 Switch). They had to compensate power for this and even exclude a game (who buys 1,2 Switch separate for $50 lol) from the console to make it affordable. Instead of the Tegra X1 they could've chosen the Tegra X2 which would make Switch closer to Xbox One in terms of power.

Tegra X2 = 1.5 Tflops (FP16) /  0,75 Tflops (FP32) (750 Gflops)

Xbox One Slim = 1.4 Tflops (FP32)

PS4pro = 8.4 Tflops (FP16) /   4.2 Tflops (FP32)

Closer means around half? but yeah, its closer than the Tegra X1 is.

It also uses abit more power right? anyways yeah would have been nice if Nintendo went for a Tegra x2 instead.

480p/60 ;)

That's even MORE better!

Would prefer 60, but again, if it's solid 30fps without drops, then I'm fine with that too

It is worth pointing out the Tegra chips both are more efficient at making use of their power than what is in the Xbox One an PS4 base models.  They also have a couple of tricks they can pull.  Still, I would say the X2 would only be around 65% to 70% in terms of real world performance, partly due to diminishing returns.  The Switch, optimumly, would probably be...45%?  It's just a matter of how well it is used.

30fps wasn't a problem in Generations, it wont be here either. I'll admit though, if I had a PS4, I would get that version for the holy grail that is 60fps.
