Willng to give this a try if it's real, and is actually obtainable.

Wasn't bothered with the NES mini as it was too far before my time but I'm curious enough to try some of the classics for the SNES. Just ondering if this will actually have a cartridge slot like some other flashback consoles, and also controller leads that aren't ridiculously short.

I hope SNES Mini is a thing. I'd expect Nintendo will arrange to have more manufactured, but even if they double the manufacturing run (versus NES Mini) to 4.6 million globally, I'd expect the system will still sell out very, very quickly.
