Forums - Website Topics - Is VGC going backwards??.

I think that thread should stand but Raven is just following the rules so the rules should be altered.

I had no problem with it either, and feel it shouldn't have been locked, but whadaryuogondo? If it's a rule, it's a rule I suppose.

- "If you have the heart of a true winner, you can always get more pissed off than some other asshole."

I want to know the mentality of people that actually enjoy watching other people on youtube. I see no point in it myself.

I understand people wanting to watch a DIY video on car repair, video game walk through of a certain hard part but just a video of some random or "youtube fame". I see no point in it. Jerking yourself off would be more productive.

I think thread quality, thread topics, and thread content has really gone down because so many make shit topics namely like stating ones anecdotal evidence as almost fact like in thread topics. Key word that is excluded is My in those topics.

Advertisement has always been this annoying grey area for me, on one hand, I like supporting people with whatever idea, but honestly if the topic suits it, not HERE MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL GO LOOK AT ME.

Look at Arlo, do not think he once did that. He shared his youtube in his signature, and sometimes one of us will post topic here with his video, but he never seemed to LOOK AT ME!

Keep locking threads and see how many advertisements we get then. But most mods don't care, they are not, not never have been supporters and they most likely have ad block on.

This is a game to them, they most likely barely care about the site and only got the job because someone likes them and they have small or no ban history. They saw the position and thought to themselves, well I barely come here, I don't care what people think of me and I have always wanted power so I will take it.

Most care little for the site and just want to add the position to their resumes.

This thread lost before it started and should be in the moderator super thread.

Miguel zero is great though, he really puts effort in as does Axum.

Bullshit

It depends on who makes the videos. If it's just gameplay videos then I don't see the point either. If the person talks over their videos and has a personality then it could be a good watch. If the person streams live and is interesting with a bunch of interesting follows, i could be worth a watch. Beside gameplay vids/live-streams there is also a number of other ways to make interesting videos.

Ultimately it comes down to if you're an interesting person you then can make interesting vids. If you have the personality of a carrot then you videos will probably be shit and not worth watching.

The malicious, intrusive ads do more to drive away traffic than a link to some YouTubers channel. lol what a stupid rule.

You are right,  you were great too.  Sorry to leave you out.

Most of them are. Don't generalize all of them. Anyway, this is off topic. But don't generalize the whole of them like that

Okay I semi get it but I suppose I'm just not the type of person that youtube is made for.  The DIY videos are very handy sometimes but I'm not someone that would ever subscribe to someone on youtube.  Basically I only use Youtube for very specific tasks and never just browse it to see what is popular or trending.

He is right , not all of them sure but there is plenty cases here and other sites of people  who just want mod powers to grow their epenis, have little power over other , have a little fame etc, most of them dont last here, and our moderation overlords do a good job to get them out fast. From the top of my head i know 2 that got  a boot in the ass and never returned to vgchartz again, shows how much they cared.  yes i know some leave caause they have better things to do irl, not talking about them.

Despite your first sentence it sounds like you agree more with Star, than you do Spurg.
