Forums - Gaming Discussion - Who here brought Wii/WiiU (Or any console) and sold the console but kept the games For Emulation?.

I sold both and the games with them. I just got really bored with WiiU. Like it had all the games I expected and then I got bored with them. SM3DW was like "now do that again with all the characters" and that just kinda pissed me off plus it was a copy paste job anyway. Then Smash bros wasn't great once I moved out of college: same with Mario Kart. Donkey Kong was fun while it lasted but no replay value. I dunno they just don't have those cinematic games that I love to replay again and again. I played Zelda on my friend's switch for a little bit and it just seemed samey with the combat only you switched weapons more.

I either use and have a console or sell it.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

No, personally I usually keep the consoles and play it on those. I have only tried emulating with a disc once or twice, and that was with the PS1 to see how it looked.

I sold my PS2 for scraps after the poor thing died of old age (I guess they wanted some parts from it), but I stiill keep the games. But I preffer torrenting the ISO again, just because the games are old and the DVDs are not what theyused to be.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
