Please click the video link above after reading this. I've been brought back to my teens/early 20s tonight. Back when video games were in their golden age: the 16 bit era. Also known as the 4th generation. The Sega Genesis is my favorite system ever. The PS2 is the best system ever, but the Sega Genesis tugs at my emotions the most. Great games. Great Gameplay. Great characters and great commercials. The trailer for Sega Forever above is heavily inspired by the 90s Sega commercials. Those of you who were playing in the early/mid 90s should get this Sega Forever trailer. I felt almost teary eyed!

I have a feeling that Sega is doing this to get younger ppl to experience these classics in order to prepare them for the comeback of many great, long absent franchises. I think Sega is planning something big! It starts with the Sega Genesis, but the trailer shows other Sega system games to come. SEGA!

It's a cool program but, by God the controls man. Pure trash.

I can only barely beat the first zone in Sonic the hedgehog like this. I much rather play the version on my 3DS or any other platform with a D-pad.

Even a simple thing like putting my name in phantasy star II is a chore without actual buttons.

Wow. This thread flopped. 6:00 A.M. posts must not be popular!

Well sir. I'm not much of a fan of retro gaming in general, but I do dabble. In fact I have a Sega collection of some type on the PS3. Spent a little time with it. Specifically, I'm not really a fan of Sonic. The most fun I ever had with it were two levels I would replay on Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast. And finally, I have no use, at all, for mobile gaming. Never had a game on my phone, probably never will. It's not quite 3 strikes, but close enough. I do appreciate your unbridaled enthusiasm though.

In fact my color poll slaughtered this! Cmon guys, show Sega a little love!

Ahh, the desert has a newcomer! I see you are no fan here. I have Sonic's Ultimate Genesis collection on my PS3 and I've been playing it! It's in my disc drive now! Out of the 49 games on it, only about 7 are actual Sonic games. It's name is misleading. The rest of the world has it properly titled. I do like Sonic though, and most of the games on this amazing collection. Thanks for replying!

It's mostly a mobile issue. If it were on a handheld or home system I'd consider it. Beyond that, there's not enough time to play new games, so, onward and upward I say. Was going to edit my post a bit to get my point across better, but my PC is going haywire at the moment.

Hey, I agree that mobile mostly sucks, but a Bluetooth controller is an option. The emulation is a little off too, but may be patched. This may come to Switch. As I said above, I think this is to get millenials into Sega franchises because I believe Sega has big plans to bring long dormant franchises back according to a recent story.

I can't wait till they bring this to other platforms besides mobile, will play the heck out of it.

It would be awesome to bring to consoles. I'm thinking about buying a Bluetooth controller for my phone and tablet though.
