No minecraft yet. Is minecraft now patched, or should I wait with it? Well, actually I'll not buy it for some more weeks, but I'm  interested so in the long run I'll probably bite.

Yup the new version of it is the up to date once which actually appears as Software, the original version of it never actually showed up as Software but just as the 2GB save file, I think where it installed was somewhere into the system OS rather than where games were meant to go, hence it having an adverse effect on the Switch being able to take screenshots properly.

OK, so I can buy it whenever I feel like it, good to hear.

Yeah for sure :) since the new update (about 2 weeks ago) there hasn't been a single issue with my Switch taking screenshots etc. it is crazy to think that a single game installed on the machine could influence the whole OS like it did though, I wouldn't be surprised if hackers were looking at how this game poured out of software and into the kernel of the machine.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

This kind of thing happened to me once with my WiiU when I tried to plug an external HD on it.

It froze.... but after exactly 01 hour it just turned on alone and I had no new issues after it. But, for the sake of the doubt, I never used an external HD on it and now I only use a simple USB drive.

I've had something similar happen before. I was playing Zelda and it just froze. I couldn't turn it off either with the off switch. So I held the button down, hoping it'd turn off like a PC, and it did. So luckily not a problem.

Every once in a while my Switch will freeze. One time it was stuck on the eShop main page and it took a minute or so of just leaving it alone until it started responding to input again. It happens every once in a while with electronics. If it is a full on freeze I just manually reboot the console (hold power button for a couple seconds)

As Nintendo releases more and more system updates, I expect the amount of freezing to go down. Haven't had a freeze or slowdown in a couple weeks.
