Playerbase would riot if the Switch version got introduced. No chance as people are already calling for baseline PS4 support to be dropped in the next expansion.
Also, the notion that Sony is going out of its way to block FF14 going to other platforms is entirely absurd. Sony doesn't have any say in the development decisions of FF14.
