That's like saying Elder scrolls is just Fallout in a medievil setting... |
Not exactly, plenty of people will say that Bloodborne is basically Souls game, or even best Souls game. Bloodborne is great game, I wouldn't call it brand new IP, when is very obvously Souls game.

Can we wait until Switch actually reaches a point where we would call it successful before calling it that? At this point in WiiU's lifetime there were posts here saying it would reach 100m+ units sold. While I'm sure Switch will sell more than WiiU, it is not yet a successful system. XB1 has already sold 30m and some people question if it is successful or not. And long term sales are not easy to predict for a system as different as this one. There's no harm in not jumping the gun. |
Switch will sell similar number like Wii U LT numbers only after 12 months on market. Switch has great concept, great brand and marketing, great lineup and Nintendo clearly know what they are doing with Switch (compared to Wii U), and demand for Switch is huge even now and Nintendo can't keep up with demand. So everything points that will be successful console, so it's not unusual when people are saying that Switch is/will be successful only 3-4 months after launch.
