Forums - Sports Discussion - The unofficial official NBA thread- Today is draft day!

Will Lonzo Ball succeed in the NBA?

Yes, he will be a super star 1 12.50%

He will be elite, but not top-10 worthy 0 0%

Yes, but will be far from... 4 50.00%

No, he will be a bust 3 37.50%

Total:8

I'm pretty interested in seeing what happens with Charlotte. Monk will be a good scorer in the NBA and they just added Dwight Howard to anchor the defense.

Whoever is in charge of the Bulls is clearly a fucking dumbass. Trying to compete with Phil Jackson for most incompetent GM perhaps

Draft wise the Kings did good trade wise the Timberwolves did good.

Kings have a very solid frontcourt and now have a great guard to depend on.

The Wolves can finally be decent. Maybe now I can go to the Target center without hating myself

Both the Wolves and the Kings should at least win ten more games next season and make the playoffs.  Depending on what happens to the Clippers free agents half the teams that made the playoffs in the West could not be in the playoffs nexts season.

One thing I'm not looking forward to next season is the advertising on the jerseys. I'm thinking the NHL will follow soon. The MLB could eventually have ads on their jerseys also. The NFL already has ads on their practice jerseys I don't think they will ever have ads on their regular jerseys.

Yeah is supposed to start in the upcoming season its not going to be as bad as in the NBL since the ad will not cover the whole jersey it will be kinda small shoulder patch similar to how the NFL does it on their practice jerseys.

I know soccer jerseys are infested with ads. Can't see how anyone buys jerseys with ads on them

As a Lakers fan, I sure as hell hope he does!

He will do fine IMO better than Dlo and will prob end up being a strong RoY cannidate (also Magic Johnson needs to stop putting so much pressure on this kid, I know that you are hype but god damn). As for the Lakers draft Josh Hart is great pick and will probably end up being one of bigger Steals of the draft by the end of the season he will start next to Lonzo i bet (he is better than Clarkson is right now), thank god that he fell to us and that the Spurs picked Derrick White(who iwould have been fine getting btw).

Kyle Kuzma to me is a mystery and better pan out for us idk why he was selected with the 27 but i trust the FO because of how LNJ and Zu worked out.

I really wanted Jordan Bell though.

Tfw the off season is more interesting than the playoff

Well most soccer teams have only one ad on their jersey it becomes tacky when there are numerous ads on a jersey which is common in a lot of lesser known leagues in various sports.
