After the highly disappointing  end to a chaotic 2016-2017 season, we are now getting ready for the best part of the NBA- the offseason!

That's right. Drama, trades, the draft, and a whole ton of shitposts. I'll be posting about the draft, trades, and any good memes or topics to talk about.

Draft:

This year seems to have a lot of guards with potential. What each team will pick is beyond me. Let's just hope the Kings don't pick another center or do another terrible trade.

The draft is at 7pm eastern time today.

First round:

1. Philadelphia

2. Lakers

3. Celtics

4. Suns

5. Kings

6. Magic

7. Wolves

8. Knicks

9. Mavericks

10. Kings

11. Hornets

12. Pistons

13. Nuggets

14. Heat

15. Trail Blazers

16. Bulls

17. Bucks

18. Pacers

19. Hawks

20. Trail Blazers

21. Thunder

22. Nets

23. Raptors

24. Jazz

25. Magic

26. Blazers (jesus, three?!)

27. Nets

28. Lakers

29. Spurs

30. Jazz

Teams without a 1st round pick: Cleveland, Golden State, Houston, New Orleans, Washington, Memphis, and L.A Clippers (aka no bench forever)

I think what's interesting is where these players will go. Will we see another Andrew-Wiggins type of trade, or will this draft be a bit more relaxing? I'm expecting chaos, and I can't wait to see what hilarious trades teams will agree to.

If Josh Jackson is still available at 4, then the Knicks will probably trade Porzingis for him.

Top 5 draft picks: 1. Markelle Fultz -Philadelphia Sixers, 2. Lonzo Bal - Los Angeles Lakers, 3. Jayson Tatum - Boston Celtics, 4. Josh Jackson - Phoenix Suns, 5. De-Aaron Fox - Sacramento Kings.

The top 5 draft picks were all college freshman. Very exciting years ahead for these young superstars. How many future NBA Hall of Famers? Will Lonzo Ball live up to the expectation of becoming better than Michael Jordan?

The Timberwolves have acquired Jimmy Butler. Being a Wolves fan has finally paid off!

Actually, what happened? I thought Boston was going to be first overall in the draft?

They traded that pick for the third pic and future draft picks.

Oh, OK. I haven't really been following.

Draft wise the Kings did good trade wise the Timberwolves did good.

As a Lakers fan, I sure as hell hope he does!

Kings have a very solid frontcourt and now have a great guard to depend on.

The Wolves can finally be decent. Maybe now I can go to the Target center without hating myself
