The problem with a league is it's too much effort to keep up. The problem with tournaments is it's hard to get everyone on at the same time.

Why not split the difference? Have tournaments now and then, but not where everyone needs to be on at the same time.

Like, you have round one of the tournament, everyone is assigned their matchup, and the two players have 3 days to work out the time and have a match. Then the next round and so on.

It's not a commitment like a league, but it's time flexible.

On a side note, if anyone just wants to have a few matches, let me know.
